Bending Spoons, Evernote's parent company, has acquired events management platform Meetup

Bending Spoons has signed an acquisition deal with the renowned platform for community event management, Meetup, which will become part of Bending Spoons' portfolio. This portfolio includes products like Remini, an AI-powered photo enhancer, Splice, a mobile video editor, and Evernote, the well-known note-taking platform that was also acquired in 2022, and recently involved in controversies due to limitations on its free version.

The acquisition is scheduled to be completed later this month, subject to closing conditions.
