Meta's Threads app introduces easy account-switching feature for multiple profiles

Meta's Threads app now has a feature that allows users to switch between different profiles easily. The account-switching feature is activated by pressing and holding the profile button in the app's tab bar, similar to Instagram user interface. To set it up, users must select the "Add profile" option to log in with multiple accounts, with the app saving the credentials for future use. This function is beneficial for users managing separate personal and work profiles or multiple work-related accounts. There is no clear information yet on the maximum number of accounts that can be added, but should be the same as Instagram.

Threads has received multiple updates to address its lack of features compared to X or Bluesky. As evidence of this, Meta recently released a web version of Threads, which is also compatible with iPads, enabling users to access the social network from a computer. They have also implemented a chronological feed that exclusively displays content from accounts that users follow, eliminating post suggestions, or the quoting feature and thread response notifications.
