Game streaming from Xbox to Discord is now available to all users

The recent September system update for Xbox has introduced the ability to stream games from Xbox to Discord natively, one of the features already available on PC and mobile, which has been highly requested by console gamers. Initially only available to Xbox Insiders, the streaming feature is now accessible to all users after almost one month in beta.

To use this feature, players need to link their Discord account to their Xbox, which then allows them to stream gameplay with a single click and join Discord voice channels directly from their Xbox console.

The update also introduces a reporting feature for in-game voice chats on consoles. Initially available in select English-speaking markets, this feature enables players to record 60-second clips and report inappropriate voice activity within multiplayer games with in-game voice chat on Xbox consoles (old and next gen). This new integration greatly enhances communication and connectivity among players, allowing them to access Discord servers, join voice channels, and share their gameplay experiences effortlessly no matter the platform.
