Google Chrome added a 'Copy Video Frame' feature for high-quality image captures from videos

Google Chrome has introduced a new feature called "Copy Video Frame," which allows users to capture specific frames from videos. This feature offers a superior quality image of the chosen frame compared to traditional screenshot methods.

To use this feature, users need to pause the video and right-click within the video player. The "Copy Video Frame" option will be visible in the context menu, but it requires a double right-click to activate. This function offers a clean copy of the selected frame, free from visible video progress bars and with improved image quality.

The company has launched the feature as a useful tool for various user groups, such as students, offering an easy method to save important frames from lectures for note taking. Google has announced the availability of the "Copy Video Frame" feature in the latest version of the Chrome browser, but as a matter of fact, the feature should work in several Chromium-based browsers like Microsoft Edge, for which it is also available.

Could have been done before but I guess it will make Youtube video screenshots easier ? I need to use an extension right now to do just that.
