YouTube Music expands podcast support internationally, starting with Brazil and Canada

YouTube Music, which initially introduced podcast support for American users in late April, is now expanding this feature internationally. The Home tab of the platform now includes a “Podcasts” option alongside the existing five mood filters. This new feature presents a dedicated feed with carousels such as 'Keep listening', 'Recommend episodes', and 'Your shows', in addition to a range of categories.

However, only those podcasts/channels that have uploaded video versions of their episodes are available on YouTube Music. Consequently, the selection of podcasts may be somewhat limited, as RSS feeds are not currently supported.

The podcast feature on YouTube Music is now accessible to users in Brazil and Canada, with plans to roll out the service to other countries in the near future.
