WhatsApp beta reveals major change to keyboard placement
WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, is reportedly developing a new keyboard layout that will change the current location of the keyboard picker. The keyboard picker, which is currently located at the bottom of the screen, will now be placed at the top of the screen. While the new layout is not yet available for beta testers, it has been spotted on WhatsApp beta version 2.23.9.2. The top bar that provides quick access to different emoji categories has been removed from the app, but this is likely due to the app being in development.

This change in design could be in preparation for the introduction of animated emoji to the app. The addition of new features is crucial for WhatsApp, which is used by millions of people and businesses worldwide every day. However, developers are also taking steps to ensure the app adheres to the latest security standards. The latest version of WhatsApp for Android, for example, is not compatible with phones running Android 4.4, as the developers aim to protect against vulnerabilities present in older Android versions.
