Google accused of unethical use of OpenAI's ChatGPT data for Bard Chatbot

Google is accused of using data from OpenAI’s ChatGPT to train its generative chatbot Bard, which was unveiled last month as a response to OpenAI’s popular ChatGPT. Google allegedly used its own Language Model for Dialogue Applications, or LaMDA, to form Bard’s syntax, and also accessed data from ShareGPT, a website where users can share ChatGPT responses. A Google AI researcher, Jacob Devlin, who now works for OpenAI, warned top executives about the ethical and technical issues of using ChatGPT data, and also left the company after the launch of Bard. Google denied using ChatGPT data to train Bard, and said that Bard was not trained on any data from ShareGPT or ChatGPT.
