Search engine Kagi unveils integration with Brave Search, new Safari extension, and more
Kagi, the premium and ad-free search engine, has unveiled a series of new features and enhancements. Among the key developments, Kagi has collaborated with Brave Search to incorporate their search results into the Kagi platform. This integration with Brave, which joins Kagi's growing list of search sources, is being offered at no extra charge.
In addition, Kagi has made significant improvements to its image search results, promising a more comprehensive and refined image search experience.
An update has been announced regarding Kagi Assistant, which is still in its beta phase. Usage statistics for Kagi Assistant are now available on the stats page. Currently, the Assistant is accessible to Ultimate plan users, with plans to extend its availability to all members in January.
Kagi has also launched the 2.0 version of its Search for Safari extension. The extension has been completely rewritten and updated to be cross-platform, enhancing its reliability and offering a streamlined way to conduct Kagi searches across macOS and iOS devices. This is made possible through Apple’s automatic extension state syncing.
Finally, this update includes a range of other bug fixes and improvements, further enhancing the user experience and performance of the Kagi search engine.
