PowerToys update 0.76 brings .NET 8 upgrade, enhanced WinUI3 accessibility, and more

The recent Microsoft PowerToys update, version 0.76, introduces a range of enhancements including a .NET 8 upgrade for improved performance, better accessibility in WinUI3 applications, and updated dependencies. The PowerToys - Awake utility's tray icon context menu now supports localization. File Explorer add-ons have been updated with a new QOI image Preview Handler and Thumbnail Provider, and improvements to GCode, SVG, and QOI file thumbnails.

The PowerToys Run Modernization has transitioned to WPF-UI with a Fluent UX design, while the VSCode plugin has been redesigned for increased stability and error handling. The Keyboard Manager now allows remapping keys to unicode text sequences and supports a Fluent design, an the Peek Utility now has a video pause/resume feature and a shortcut for closing Peek. The update also includes bug fixes and improvements to utilities like FancyZones, Environment Variables, Image Resizer, GPO, Hosts File Editor, and Mouse Without Borders.
