Microsoft Copilot comes to iOS and iPadOS, offering access to GPT-4 without a subscription

Just a few days after its recent Android debut, Microsoft has expanded its AI chatbot, Copilot, to iOS and iPadOS. The app, which works similarly to OpenAI’s ChatGPT mobile app, is now available for download on the Apple App Store, allowing users to use AI for tasks like asking questions, drafting text, and generating images. Copilot also integrates with the DALL-E 3 text-to-image generator for image-related tasks.

In contrast to the free version of ChatGPT, Copilot offers users access to GPT-4, OpenAI's latest large language model, without a subscription, in addition to other premium features such as the aforementioned image generation or third-party plugins. Microsoft has also launched a separate and redesigned web experience for the standalone version of Copilot.
