VMware releases Workstation Pro and Player 17.5 with enhanced security and new features

VMware recently released the latest versions of its Workstation Pro and Player software, version 17.5. These tools are used by technical professionals to run multiple operating systems simultaneously on a single PC.

The Workstation Pro allows for the development, testing, demonstration, and deployment of software across various x86-based operating systems, including Windows and Linux. This is achieved without the need to reboot the system, making it a versatile tool for software development and testing.

On the other hand, the Workstation Player is a more streamlined desktop virtualization application. It provides a straightforward user interface, extensive operating system support, and seamless portability across the VMware ecosystem.
