Unlabeled clickbait ads on Twitter raise transparency concerns as they can't be reported
Multiple users on X have reported the existence of unlabeled clickbait ads that are currently unblockable and unreportable.
The ads use embedded images and clickbait-style text, which could mislead users into believing they're viewing regular content. The illusion of these ads being user-generated content is amplified by the creation of a "profile" picture from the embedded image, but there is not real user profile. The Mashable report also indicates these ads are not visible in X's ad campaign manager, suggesting they might be distributed by a third-party ad provider.
The absence of clear labeling or reporting options for these ads raises significant concerns about user experience and ad transparency on platform X. This situation highlights the need for X to tackle the issue and ensure users can clearly distinguish between authentic content and potentially misleading clickbait ads.

Really sad to see how far X is degrading the user experience. Time to abandon ship guys, idk, there are alternative clients to have only posts from person you follow like Nitter. The world would be better without this ad practices.
