The Linux game manager Lutris releases version 0.5.14 with new features and enhancements

Lutris, the versatile game manager, has released version 0.5.14, introducing several new features and enhancements. The software is recognized for its capability to operate games from numerous platforms such as EA App, Steam, GOG.com, itch.io, Epic Games Store, Humble Bundle, and many others.

Major features in the new version include a Steam account switcher for managing multiple Steam accounts on a single device, and the ability for users to create their own tags or categories for a more organized game library. The update has also improved efficiency by consolidating API calls for runtime updates. It automatically downloads suitable DXVK and VKD3D versions based on the available GPU PCI IDs, improving compatibility and performance.

Enhancements have been made to the integration with EA App, allowing users to manually import their Origin games and saves. The new version also integrates with ScummVM local library. The software now provides automatic Wine-GE updates at startup, and displays downloads from GOG and Amazon games in a single progress bar. The update addresses several issues, including the blank login window problem on online services, and introduces a "sort name" field for easier game sorting and searching. The latest version has improved integration and performance by using an AppImage for Yuzu and xemu, and includes experimental support for Flatpak-provided runners.
