Meta's Threads app introduces GIF posting and poll features
Meta's Threads app is introducing two new features, as announced by CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The first feature allows users to post GIFs directly in Threads, removing the need to source them from other platforms. The second feature is the addition of polls, offering an efficient way to collect user feedback and data.
Users can access these features without needing to update the app in the app store; they simply have to restart the app. However, the features are being rolled out gradually, so users are advised to check for their availability periodically.
Threads recently added support for post editing and voice recording posting. The edit button is available free of charge. Threads is one of the most popular alternatives to X right now, which recently launched voice and audio calls as new features.
