Mastodon rolls out a new lists feature for its Android app

Mastodon has rolled out an update for its Android app, introducing a new lists feature, as announced by CEO Eugen Rochko. This feature enables users to sort the accounts they follow based on topics or interests, simplifying their home feed and facilitating interaction with pertinent content. The update also brings a revamped home tab for enhanced navigation between the home feed, lists, and hashtags.

Although the lists feature is already available on Mastodon's web version, its introduction to the iOS app remains uncertain due to ongoing performance and crash issue fixes. Rochko views the lists feature as a notable enhancement for users, offering a more streamlined way to receive updates from chosen accounts.
