Canva unveils Magic Studio: An AI-driven design tool competing with Adobe Firefly

Canva, the widely used visual communication platform, has unveiled Magic Studio, an AI-driven tool designed to generate professional-grade designs. This development comes on the heels of Adobe's announcement of similar generative AI tools in Adobe Firefly for all Creative Cloud users.

Magic Studio, embedded within Canva, is user-friendly and offers capabilities such as Magic Switch and Magic Grab. These features enable users to transfigure designs into various formats and modify element positions, all while preserving the integrity of the surrounding environment.

In addition to these, Magic Studio also includes Magic Expand, Magic Morph, Magic Animate, and Magic Media. These tools offer functionalities such as effortless image expansion, text or shape transformation, and the creation of images and videos from text prompts. While some of these features are accessible for free, others necessitate a paid subscription.
