Artifact launches Generative AI feature for customized image creation in Posts
In recent weeks, the combination of a newsreader and microblogging/link-sharing social network, Artifact, has been bringing quite a few significant updates to its platform with the aim of focusing on the most socially interactive components. These updates include features like a reputation and comment system, as well as a new 'Links' tab for content discovery or the ability to create customized posts, and it is precisely based on this new posts system that they have now launched a new feature that allows their users to use Generative AI to create their own images powered by AI to accompany their posts.
The new AI Image Generation feature aims to facilitate the use and creation of posts for users without the obligation to share a pre-designed image. The platform employs a refined version of the Stable Diffusion model, so we can expect results that match the text or title of the post being shared. To access this feature, users can click the plus "+" icon in the photo frame when creating a new post and select "create with AI."
The generative AI feature allows users to input prompts to specify and styles (such as anime, photorealistic, origami, etc). The process is quick and if users are unsatisfied, they can retry with the same or a modified prompt as many times as they want.
