Destiny 2 is free to download and keep forever from November 2–18, 2018

Activision Blizzard, the publisher of the first person shooter Destiny 2, announced today that the game will be available to download and keep on Windows PCs for players who have not yet purchased the game. Once users have registered the game to their Battle.net account, they can keep the game even after the free gift period has ended.

As detailed on Blizzard.com, in commemoration of the game's launch on PC, Activision Blizzard is giving it away from November 2 to November 18, 2018. This requires users to create a free Battle.net account, ensure they enable Blizzard SMS Protect via a texting-enabled phone number, and then claim the game via the Battle.net gift page.

It is worth mentioning that Small Destiny 2 iconDestiny 2 can only be downloaded using the Small Battle.net App iconBattle.net App on PCs running Windows.
