I like Zettel Notes. Some might ask why? The answer is quite simple – it’s convenient. In addition to its high speed, it also supports plugins, which are currently only being developed by the developer himself.
Those who know how to program can also contribute to the app's development. It's open source, and the developer takes an honest approach to Zettel.
You can download/purchase all plugins in Google Play Market. This is an optional attribute, it is created to support the developer,...

v1.0.78 is only 9.1MiB, my notes are simply pure txt, but it also supports md. WebDAV works fine, but you should specify a webdav folder like webdavurl.com/dav/mynotes, or it will sync other unrelated folders (from your webdav server) for you.

And you can change UI to suit your prefrences. And it can support mathematicals expressions to a wide range. Last but not the least is privacy! You can encrypt notes or repositories per your choice with (End to End encryption, OpenKey chain and password encryption as .aes) And you can sync with a lot of options too including github. You can even set password protected backups to upload wherever. Just download and enjoy.

You can download/purchase all plugins in Google Play Market. This is an optional attribute, it is created to support the developer, because you can download the same plugins from his own f-droid repository.
Its extensive functionality and easy handling of .md and .org formats distinguish it from the popular note-taking app Obsidian. Everything is simple and user-friendly, and you can edit the toolbar yourself.
The app may have similar apps, but they are all either a) subscription-based and server-based; b) poorly optimized.
I encourage you to try this app and see its functionality for yourself. It's completely free. And if you like it, you can support the developer financially. You can also offer helpful advice if you're a coder or suggest ideas for a feature set you need. The developer is responsive and reliable.

The app also includes fantastic add-ons that provide excellent integration, such as translation, OCR, and AI-powered chatbots. It even integrates with the Anki educational app! 😍
Let's not forget the app's most important feature! ✨ It's specifically designed for Android phones, giving you a smoother browsing experience than other competing apps that rely on a web-based structure, making navigation less tiring.

Hey, you can read markdown files directly, so just import your markdown files in android storage and then select them in Zettel Notes.
Best note taking app i've ever seen but i wish it was open source.
