What is Yankee Clipper?
Yankee Clipper is a clipboard extender for Windows that handles various data types without size limits. It offers features like printing, drag and drop, and permanent storage of clippings. Its interface resembles the "Outlook" layout.
Yankee Clipper X (YCX) is an advanced version that stores all copied data for future use. It has user-friendly settings, customization options, and two viewing modes: "simple" and "advanced".
Yankee Clipper III (YC3) is a freeware version that retains many YCX features. It stores up to 200 text and RTF, 20 BMP and Metafile, and 200 URL clipboard entries. Unique features include saving and reusing clippings, launching copied links, floating on top of other apps for quick pasting, and printing any text clipboard entry with word-wrap. It also supports ordering of items, automatic reconnection to clipboard when disrupted, and global hotkeys for quick access. Clippings can be transferred to and from YCIII, and unwanted "quote" characters can be removed.
