From a technical perspective, it's evolved for Framasoft's own "Framaforms", based on Drupal 7 modules all bundled together and hosted on several instances, maybe your own soon !

Yakforms (Framaforms) is the best free alternative to Google Forms. It doesn't steal your data or track you and it is open source. The competition might be "free" but once you create an account they have your data. Yakforms does not, so it is the best contender.
