XNote Timer

XNote Timer is a free simple and easy-to-use stopwatch and timer. It is a lightweight edition of XNote Stopwatch, good for users who need only a basic functionality of stopwatch, timer and clock. It requires no installation. The program's interface is basic and easy to understand. There's nothing fancy, no skins or different display styles. The clock consists of black digital numbers on a gray background. The program's handful of options can be accessed from a drop-down menu. It can be resized in any direction by dragging its borders, and a compact feature allows users to minimize the menu and display only the clock itself. With these versatile resizing capabilities, the program can be displayed full-screen or as just a tiny square. Both the stopwatch and timer features are easy to use. For the stopwatch, users need only click Start. The timer can simply count down a given amount of time, but users can also set it to play a sound file and/or open a program when time runs out. Both the stopwatch and timer display hundredths of a second. Users can set hot keys to start and stop the program, reset the clock, or access the menu. All of the programs features are fairly self-explanatory.
