Great app although not everything is intuitive or well documented. And you cannot make your own patterns.

Great app although not everything is intuitive or well documented. And you cannot make your own patterns.

What is XMure?

Live performance musical arranger app that plays recorded real-life loops of chord styles, changed in real-time according to the tune or chords being played. Each chord style has four patterns (A B C and D,) and two fill-in options. Each pattern has a drum section, a bass section, and two melody sections, and the volume of each section is controlled separately, so that, for example, you can play the chord without the drums.

You can only use the given styles. There are many of them. But there is no way to create your own style. The free version comes with a minimal set of available styles, and a large list of styles that can be previewed and purchased.

The UI includes a fast chord chooser and a keyboard, or can be controlled by MIDI from an external keyboard.

Only an IOS version exists for Apple devices: iPhone, iPad, and Macbook.
