I don't like the update policy and am still peeved over having to upgrade just to keep it working on windows 10 from the last major update, but overall it's the best dictionary and thesaurus program I have ever used and I have tried everything on alternativeto a couple of times over just to make sure it's still the best for me.
It has a real "One-Click" functionality that lets you easily look up any word you want without needing to highlight anything. It works just about anywhere desktop,Internet, etc just small, quick. easy and works
WordWeb is a fantastic dictionary which works offline so you can use it any time by simply highlighting text and using the shortcut (Ctrl+Alt+W). Been using it for years and it's become second nature to me. It also has a hilarious license agreement that really threw me off at first.
