An easy way to manage multiple users:
You can manage whole groups of users as single user accounts. The new Windows SteadyState console makes it easier, than ever to create and modify user profiles.
A locked-down platform for stable shared computing
Not every computer user should have access to every software capability. Your system can be more stable and consistent when you limit user access to control panel functions, network resources, and other sensitive areas.
Set it and forget it:
Once you have everything set up the way you want it, you can share the computer and rest easy. Any changes a user might make to the configuration or hard disk can be undone by simply restarting the machine.

Comments and Reviews
Reboot Restore Rx is the best thing that Horizon DataSys did. It is the best alternative to SteadyState and Reboot Restore works on Windows 7 and Widnows 8
I recommend Comodo Time Machine as a free alternative, and also "Rollback Rx" as a paid/managed alternative!
Windows SteadyState has been discontinued as of 12/31/10. It looks like the reason is because of the incompatibility with Windows 7.
An Excellent program for Windows XP SP2/3 and Windows Vista. Unfortunately, no matter how many compatability settings I try, the software will not work with Windows 7. It installs and you can use some functionality, but the hard drive imaging and protection is not available. I will be testing Comodo Time Machine as a Windows 7 solution - but in XP, I am extremely satisfied with Windows SteadyState.
