Comments and Reviews
Simple and nice to look at, on some systems it likes to crash after copying the results. You cannot freely type in or edit the equation. It's not very flexible.
I think the worst part is the data Microsoft collects when you calculate something.
When asked not to collect your data they said you can't "go around making demands in this manner". They hide behind a "code of conduct" and accuse you of being a "troll".

It's OK when it works, but at its best, it's clunky. And it's simply not stable. Do an internet search for "can't run windows calculator" and stand back in awe.
The average idiot tells users to perform some manner of Windows reinstall to correct the issue (again, don't take my word for it--search). So, you have to reinstall the entire OS to fix a single little app? What a joke.
The "modern apps" paradigm is a crapfest. I loathe it with the unimaginable, white-hot fury of a trillion Big Bangs. It's so bad I can't help but think it's designed to cause user frustration.
In Windows 8.1 this was a great calculator and did everything I needed easily and intuitively. The Windows 10 version is useless for my purposes: worse than useless because it is so frustrating. In "standard" mode, it still insists on using scientific notation, even for numbers between 1 and 10.
Since recently trying it again I was very surprised at how functional it is. Mamy different types of calculator and mumerous conversions available. Best though was using the binary conversions and getting clean and unintrusive examples of how many floppies, cds or dvds it would fill. I find such information very usefull.
