Lightweight, beautiful, customizable.
I discovered Wikiwand as a Chrome extension but now have stopped using it as it does not work all the time: in order to redirect you to the Wikiwand version of an existing Wikipedia page, it needs the original URL to be in a very specific order or else it fails. Despite ditching the Chrome extension, I now enjoy rewriting the Wikipedia URLs manually (i.e: https://wikiwand.com/en/sameaswikihere) so as to see the article displayed on Wikiwand. It's a gem for visual thinkers and designers who think too that Wikipedia is in serious need of a branding update.
