What is WhyIQ AI Radar?

WhyIQ AI Radar is an AI citation monitor for brands that want to know if AI search is actually sending buyers to their site. Every week, AI Radar queries 5 AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overviews) on your buyer-intent prompts and reports which engines cite your domain, which cite a competitor, and which surface a third-party source (Reddit, review sites, listicles) instead.

5 engines flat at every paid tier. SMB ($29/mo) covers 30 prompts weekly across all 5 engines. Agency ($149/mo) covers 40 prompts per client domain across 5 client domains, with $35 per additional domain. No per-engine add-ons, no upsell to unlock the engine you actually want to track. Otterly's $29 tier covers 4 engines with paid add-ons (+$9 / +$59 / +$149) for the rest; Profound's entry tier is ChatGPT-only at $99; Peec AI ships 3 engines with per-engine add-ons up to $140.

3-pass confidence band on Agency. AI engine responses are probabilistic. Run the same prompt twice and you may see different citations. Single-shot weekly tracking, which every funded competitor in the category ships, reports one query result as the citation reading for that week. AI Radar's Agency tier runs each prompt 3 times per week against every engine and averages the result into a citation-rate band on the dashboard (e.g. cited in 2 of 3 passes). AI Radar treats single-shot as a known noise source, not a feature.

Page-level attribution. Each prompt in the bank carries an intended target page. When an engine cites your domain, AI Radar flags whether the engine landed on the intended page (full win) or a different page on your domain (partial win). Domain-level competitors surface only the cite without the target-page match.

Automatic weekly email digest. When each scan cycle completes, the tenant owner gets an email naming the top citing engine and the top non-brand competitor for the week, with a link to the full dashboard breakdown. Multi-week trend stacks in the dashboard week over week, so the headline number is movement over time, not this week's snapshot.

Weekly refresh cadence, not daily. AirOps studied 548,000 pages of AI citations and found AI citation half-life is roughly 3 months. Daily single-pass tracking is theatre at that decay rate; weekly multi-pass at the same cost is the rigorous baseline.

Free one-time check completes in about 90 seconds. No account required. No enterprise sales call. Self-serve onboarding.
