Comments and Reviews
In terms of performance and functions, WaveLab is THE best audio editor on earth. Here are some of the pros:
Speedy! Glitch-free, butter-smooth operation: you can drag looped selections around and the playhead will stay in the selection and loop like normal.
Audio Montage!!! Work with multiple layers/tracks of audio and design whatever you like.
Great support and community. The main developer is active on the program's forum and normally responds the same day (I use to get responses within the minute!).
It can record itself. Eg. you can loop a selection, drag it around, while having some plugins affect the audio in realtime – then record your 'performance' directly to a new file. No other editor I've seen can do that, or at least as well as WaveLab does it.
Apply (plugin) effects directly, on just a selection of the audio file, or the whole file.
So many other pluses, but this is one of the best software investments I've ever made.
