W3Schools has been around forever and has always provided free webmastering tutorials that are straightforward and easy to understand. If you want to learn how to build web pages (and for free), just start out reading their HTML tutorial and go from there.

but looks like hae compability issues with firefox and microsoft edge
as title suggest, one of best reference manual for frontend development (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
