VRAM Shield information
What is VRAM Shield?
VRAM Shield is a Windows system utility designed to manage GPU Memory Junction temperatures during heavy workloads like Local AI generation and AAA gaming.
While traditional tools like MSI Afterburner rely on static global undervolting, VRAM Shield introduces dynamic "Pulse Throttling". It monitors the specific VRAM sensors (which often run much hotter than the GPU core on modern laptops) and micro-suspends heavy CUDA/DirectX processes for milliseconds when they reach your custom thermal limits.
This allows the physical heatsink to dissipate thermal energy without global performance nerfs or system instability.
Key Features: • Real-time VRAM and Core Clock telemetry. • Pulse Throttling (Standard scheduling) in the Free version. • Smart Throttling (Advanced mathematical load adjustment) in the PRO version. • Panic Trigger for absolute thermal limits. • Stealth Mode for zero-distraction background operation.
