Very nice VPN. Daily use since more than 5 years from FTTH / xDSL / LTE connections (with regular downloads) and also from Android phone. Very good speeds for value. About QoS, I've nothing to say except that the uptime is closer to ~95% on some servers (according to my own experience - which stay pretty good anyway). At this time, there are 3 private DNS servers in Europe (NL, LU, RO) and at least 1 more in rest of the world: Canada... Nothing leak detected with official client software on Windows, Linux (Debian) and Android (with several tools). SecureProxy is a great supplement for browsers (usable over on traditionnal OpenVPN or not), likewise for the SOCKS5 proxies (especially for download manager softwares: DDL, Torrents). Finally, support is very responsive and professional: especially it takes in consideration suggestions, and I got answers even on weekends!
I tried other more popular services (like PIA, NorthVPN or Mullvad) between two subscriptions and I always come back on vpn.ac. Finally, I intend to stay there as long as this quality of service is maintained as well. I highly recommend it you too ;) You can see a complete (and realistic/objective?) review: https://vpnreviewer.com/vpnac-review
EDIT (April 2018): rating increased (4 to 5 stars) after multiple advances and service improvements for several months and disappointing tests of competing services.
EDIT (May 2019): WireGuard is now implemented and available for Android, iOS, macOS ("more to come").
EDIT (October 2019): WireGuard available for many platforms (use same connections profiles): https://www.wireguard.com/install/ According to my own experience, actual bandwidth on these WG servers is much more interesting than OpenVPN, even if some servers have DNS communication problems sometimes (server switching solves the problem for now...).
