VoiceWink

VoiceWink is a dictation app for Windows 11. Hold down a key, say what you want to write, and let go. The text appears wherever your cursor is, in any app.

It can also tidy up what you said to suit the app you’re in, so it comes out as a proper email in Outlook or a casual message in Slack.

Speech recognition and AI clean-up can both run on your own PC with built-in models, so you don’t need an API key or an account. The built-in AI models need 16 GB of memory. If you’d rather, you can use your own AI server, such as Ollama or LM Studio, or a cloud AI service with your own key.

There’s a 7-day free trial, then a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The source code is open under GPL v3.
