VB-Audio VoiceMeeter

Spend time setting everything up then after 30 days i get a pop up having to wait for 160 sec, then I tries to switch the banana but now my sound is all screwed up. Now I can't remove this program or the drivers it's a complete mess

Banana and VB-Cable are great products.

I downloaded VoiceMeeter so that I could play music while live streaming and prevent the music from being mixed into the stream audio. It achieved that and more as I now use this daily for all my audio needs and find it hard to imagine going without. I pair it with one of their virtual cables for even more control having Discord comms go through a separate track for recording and stream audio levels which is huge!

To be clear, there are some downsides:

1. It adds some minor audio latency and CPU usage to your setup.
2. There can be some hiccups learning the program as it has some advanced features and oddities. When I first installed I had incorrect sample rates and had to restart the audio engine every hour or so.

Knowing those downsides though I still give this program 5 stars because it does the job it says and does it excellently. I've not seen anything else quite like it.

Nice addition to OBS Studio, to be able to record conference audio, but not other voice meeting at the same time! Thanks for the good job!

Causes as many problems as it solves, has spotty compatibility, and its convoluted interface is counter-intuitive. There's no reason the Channels could not be called simply A1, A2, B1, B2, etc, but instead we get names so long that not only does one have to scour them like a paragraph to suss out which is the right one, they often are too long to fit in the dropdown menus of certain apps, leaving one to guess blindly.
