What is Vifo?
Vifo is a travel notebook written by an AI agent rather than by hand. It works as an MCP connector: the user adds one URL to an MCP-capable assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor and others) and authorizes once. During a trip, they send photos and say whatever crosses their mind in the same chat they already use; the agent reads time and place from photo metadata, writes a description for every photo, and builds a day-by-day timeline.
Two design rules distinguish it: the user's own remarks are stored and quoted verbatim, never rewritten by the AI; and shared pages never include GPS coordinates or video transcripts — viewers see place names, not raw positions. Trips are private by default and shared through a single revocable link that requires no account to view.
There is nothing to install — Vifo runs in the browser and inside the assistant. The free tier covers 10 recent trips with 50 photos each; a Plus subscription ($6.9/month or $39.9/year) adds unlimited trips, video with transcription, and 50 GB storage.
