We created VideoReDo because we wanted an easy way to edit and author video. We wanted to reduce the time and effort needed to create and share this video. But mostly we created VideoReDo because we wanted to make sharing video programs fun again!
VideoReDo established itself as a leader in 2004 with the release of its flagship program, VideoReDo Quick Edit, which rapidly became the choice among professionals and consumers for frame-accurate native MPEG-2 video editing. The company’s follow-up product, VideoReDo Plus premiered in 2005, and added integration with Windows Media Center, set-top boxes, and HD MPEG2 streams.
Our latest product, VideoReDo TVSuite adds 4K support and is designed to not only edit captured video quickly and easily, but to re-purpose the video for DVDs and portable devices such as phones and tablets.
VideoReDo is a division of DRD Systems, Inc. a privately funded investment and holding company with a mission to nurture and develop innovative businesses. DRD Systems is a Delaware Corporation.
Comments and Reviews
Over-the-air mpeg-2 recordings can have commercials edited out and the resulting file saved either as mpeg-2 (no conversion or loss of quality), or H.264 or H.265 (with conversion). The best feature in my opinion is the following: When editing a media file, VideoReDo keeps the audio and video in sync, even if there were dropped video or audio frames in the media file. For me, this has only failed when editing practically unwatchable video, such as TV shows broadcasted from 60 miles away that were recorded during a thunderstorm. There is a batch manager included with the software, for automated video conversions or ad detection of multiple files.
I love the VideoReDo's Ads auto detecting and manual adjustment of ad's removal. And it cropping, cutting, and joining of videos.
