Platforms

  • Online  Free browser configuration designer. Fleet management runs on your self-hosted server.
  • Self-Hosted  Docker Desktop on Windows and macOS, or Docker Engine and Compose v2 on Linux. Server images are Linux x86-64; Apple Silicon uses amd64 emulation. A prebuilt native server kit supports Ubuntu 24.04 x86-64 with systemd 252+ and cgroups v2. Managed hosts require Vector 0.58.

What is Vectory?

Vectory is an open-source, self-hosted control plane for Vector 0.58. Design pipelines in a graph or edit YAML, JSON or TOML, check configurations, publish immutable versions, and deploy to selected devices with canaries and rollback. Outbound-only agents report what each host runs; event data flows through Vector to its destinations.

The free browser designer can create or import Vector configurations, visualize and edit their connections, and export them without an account or upload.

Self-hosted installation uses one guided command, prebuilt Docker images on Windows, macOS and Linux, and automatic HTTPS. A prebuilt native server kit supports Ubuntu 24.04 x86-64 with systemd 252 or later and cgroups v2. Add device provides verified prebuilt agent installation for Linux, macOS and Windows. Vectory 0.2.1 publishes immutable GHCR image digests and download inventories authenticated with GitHub OIDC and Cosign. Vectory's own code is Apache-2.0; bundled third-party materials retain their licenses. Independent of Datadog and Vector.
