Unstale is a WordPress plugin that keeps old blog posts accurate. It reads a published post, searches the live web, fact-checks its figures, prices and dates, then rewrites it at one of four levels, from typo fixes to a full rewrite. It also adds internal links, updates the SEO title and description for Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO or SEOPress, and fixes weak image alt text.
Every refresh waits in a review queue with a side-by-side diff. Nothing is published without approval, the URL never changes, and the previous version can be restored in one click. A free Content health screen lists posts by age and flags posts that compete for the same search.
It runs on the Anthropic, OpenAI or Google account you connect in WordPress 7.0, billed by the provider at cost, with no credits. Content and keys never leave your site for the vendor's servers.
The free plugin on wordpress.org covers the Minimal and Balanced levels and batches of 50 posts. Unstale Pro adds the Strong and Maximal levels, scheduled automation with per-category rules and bulk refresh of 100 posts.
