Ubicloud information
What is Ubicloud?
Ubicloud is an open, free, and portable cloud. Think of it as an open alternative to cloud providers, like what Linux is to proprietary operating systems.
Ubicloud provides IaaS cloud features on bare metal providers, such as Hetzner, OVH, and AWS Bare Metal. You can set it up yourself on these providers or you can use our managed service. We're currently in public alpha.
Cloud services for everyday use
Today, use MRSK and deploy any web app that can be containerized with Docker. Ubicloud services include elastic compute (VM), virtual networking, elastic load balancer, and attribute-based access control (ABAC).
Tomorrow, benefit from a growing list of portable services such as blob storage and elastic block storage. All developed transparently & with your feedback on GitHub.
Portable across cloud and hosting providers
Choose the platform that best suits your needs. Put your web app into Docker & deploy using MRSK.
Compute services that reduce VM costs by 5x; local NVMe disks that outperform block storage by orders of magnitude; or hosting providers with zero network egress costs.
Open or managed for you
Available on GitHub under the AGPLv3 license. Available for consumption on popular hosting providers, managed by us. Gives you the freedom to choose.

Comments and Reviews
The managed service is very affordable compared to all other cloud vendors. Also it is open source, so you can self-host if you want.
