TweetXDelete is a Chrome extension that helps users manage their posts, undo reposts, and remove likes on a specific platform. Users can select what to remove, apply date filters, set operation limits, and confirm their account and action before starting. The extension works within the user's existing session and doesn't require a password. Users can resume unfinished sessions.
The extension can only scan items returned by the platform. Older items can be found using platform archive files, which are read locally and never uploaded. However, not all items are guaranteed to be discovered or removed. For likes, date filters use the original post's publication date, not the like date. To import likes, date filters need to be turned off.
TweetXDelete offers a free trial with 30 operations across posts, reposts, and likes. A $4.99 one-time payment provides unlimited deletion, with no recurring subscription. Deletion requests are sent directly from the user's browser to the platform. The extension also validates license keys, retrieves a settings file, and may send anonymous error reports, excluding user-specific data.
The platform tab must be open while the extension is running. The extension pauses when the platform indicates a rate limit. Completion time and full account history removal aren't guaranteed. The extension can't restore deleted posts, but users can manually like accessible posts again.
