TunnelPup is a free, open-source desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux that puts apps running on a computer on your own domain through Cloudflare Tunnel. Pick a subdomain and the port an app runs on, and TunnelPup creates the tunnel route and DNS record, then checks that the address loads over HTTPS before listing it.
The connection to Cloudflare is outgoing, so no router ports are opened and the computer's IP address stays private. HTTPS uses Cloudflare's free certificate. Routes stay monitored: one whose app has stopped is flagged, and apps that only accept requests addressed to localhost, such as Ollama, Vite, Django and Rails, are detected and handled automatically.
Domains can be added from within the app, which shows the nameservers to set and follows each domain until it is ready. A guided flow also helps get a free domain from DigitalPlat. The Cloudflare API token is stored in the system keychain, there is no telemetry, and the app runs in the system tray, can start at login and installs signed updates.
A free Cloudflare account is required. TunnelPup is MIT-licensed and not affiliated with Cloudflare.
