TTRPG Helper

Running tabletop RPG sessions shouldn't require juggling multiple browser tabs, paying recurring subscriptions, or depending on cloud servers during a game. TTRPG Helper was built from scratch with a modern desktop architecture (Tauri, React, TypeScript, SQLite) to provide Game Masters with a blazing fast, responsive, and completely offline assistant.

Core Capabilities:

Dual-System Combat Engine:

D&D 5e (2014 & 2024 Rulesets): Turn and round order, automatic HP scaling, difficulty calculations, condition trackers with duration timers, and quick target attacks. Cyberpunk RED: Native handling of armor stopping power (SP ablation), wound thresholds (Lightly Wounded, Seriously Wounded, Mortally Wounded), and critical injuries.

Tactical Battle Map & Scene Director:

Built-in Procedural Dungeon Generator (BSP crypts and cellular cave layouts with automatic wall and door placement). Drag-and-drop custom battle maps (PNG, JPG, WebP). Square and hex grid snapping with adjustable cell sizes. Token management with health rings, status badges, visibility toggles, and measurement tools. Separate Player Display screen with fog of war.

Integrated Compendiums & Homebrew:

Built-in SRD databases for monsters, spells, magical items, and conditions. Flexible filters by Challenge Rating, creature type, and source. Full Homebrew Creator to draft and save custom monsters, items, and NPCs with instant export/import.

GM Table Utilities:

3D Physics Dice Roller: Realistic dice simulations supporting standard sets (d4 to d100) and formula modifiers. Loot & Treasure Generator: Tier-based loot tables for instant rewards. Ambient Audio Player: Background atmosphere and sound effects for immersion. Quick Reference Cheat Sheets: Combat actions, difficulty classes, travel pace, and cover rules at a glance.

Privacy and Performance:

Runs locally on your machine with near-zero memory footprint compared to Electron-based apps. All campaign data is stored in local SQLite databases and JSON files. No tracking, no mandatory accounts, no paywalls. Bilingual support: Full English and Russian interface toggle.
