Trustap

Trustap is a safe transaction platform for people who are buying or selling online, or in person. Trustap is a combination of the modern mobile money wallets and the more traditional safe escrow companies. It offers a slick transaction platform designed to protect buyers and sellers for everyday transactions with strangers and is specifically designed to easily integrate into existing marketplaces.

Trustap manages the entire transaction with a ‘hands-on’ approach, not just the safe payment aspect. In a typical transaction, the buyer pays the price of an item into the Trustap hold. The funds are then released to the seller based on certain milestones being met such as the delivery of an item or the handing over of an item in person. By holding the funds until the transactional milestones are met, both the buyer and seller are completely protected from fraud or scams.
