Trizen Alternatives
Trizen is described as 'AUR Package Manager: A lightweight wrapper for AUR'. There are six alternatives to Trizen for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Arch Linux, Manjaro Linux, Ubuntu and ArcoLinux. The best alternative is pacman (package manager), which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Trizen are Paru (Free, Open Source), Yay (Free, Open Source), Pacstall (Free, Open Source) and yaourt (Free, Open Source).
- The pacman package manager is one of the major distinguishing features of Arch Linux . It combines a simple binary package format with an easy-to-use build system. No screenshots yet
- Paru is an AUR helper written in Rust and based on the design of yay. It aims to be your standard pacman wrapping AUR helper with minimal interaction.
- Yay is an AUR helper written in go, based on the design of yaourt, apacman and pacaur.
- Pacstall will attempt to become the AUR Ubuntu wishes it had. It takes the AUR and puts a spin on it, making it easier to install programs without scouring github repos and the likes. No screenshots yet
