SmartVizX has created Trezi, a product that solves the problems faced by stakeholders in the building industry – architects, interior designers, building product manufacturers and the owners and tenants of properties – by using immersive technology. Trezi combines video game engine technology (Unreal Engine) with architectural digital design to create an interactive, immersive and collaborative design experience.

Trezi is a fully immersive Virtual Reality (VR) product that dramatically improves design communication and collaboration by enabling team members to experience the workplace project’s design at full scale. Trezi can be subscribed to and downloaded from the company’s website. Architects and designers can then import their 3D designs developed using traditional 3D design tools such as SketchUp and Autodesk Revit into Trezi, put on a compatible VR headset or invite their clients to do so, and explore the design as though they were in the actual designed workplace or home. The designer or the client can make changes to the materials and textures in the design and see the effects of these changes instantly in the virtual world. They chose different workplace products such as furniture, carpets, etc. from catalogs of building product manufacturers, in the virtual reality environment, and place these products in the virtual workspace.

Trezi advances the understanding, communication, and translation of workplace interior design for all stakeholders in the design process, directly resulting in reduced errors and omissions, time spent re-visiting decisions, and material wastage.
