What is TouchGrassBar?

TouchGrassBar is a free, open-source macOS menu-bar app for Codex and Claude users. It shows provider limits, token usage for today, 7 days, or 30 days, hourly and daily charts, and approximate API-equivalent costs.

A public leaderboard lets users compare token totals with friends. Profiles and daily usage aggregates are public. Prompts, conversations, credentials, and raw logs stay on the device. API-equivalent costs are estimates, not subscription bills, and token rankings do not measure productivity.

Built with Tauri, Rust, and React. Requires Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later. MIT licensed.
