TotesNotes

I was tired of always having to start a new instance of notepad to take a note of something during my busy work day. All the other note applications seem very bulky and didn't really work with the fast pace that I work at.

TotesNotes is almost perfect. If you like minimalistic, bare bones note takers, but dislike having to open a new window, or go behind your opened windows to open up a new note and just need something super quick and easy, this is for you. It doesn't have any menu, doesn't have any formatting, just text and some tabs, right in your tray bar. It lets you save its notes to txt files. There really isn't any other windows note-taking app like it. Now, I give it 3 stars because it isn't for me particularly, since I like more formatting, ability to have an index of notes, have a save storage, import notes, open on start up (although, I just put it on the start up folder myself). But I cannot deny how helpful it is, which is why I continue to use it. :)

Do not waste your time, like I did. TotesNotes only window appears to be a multi-tab text editor. It occupies the right hand bottom 20% of the monitor screen and cannot be moved - dragged No instructions, no toolbars, no hot keys, only one btn to "Save as Text file" on each note's tabs. The ReadMe.TXT file has one word on it.

What is TotesNotes?

I was tired of always having to start a new instance of notepad to take a note of something during my busy work day. All the other note applications seem very bulky and didn't really work with the fast pace that I work at.

So... I made TotesNotes!.

Click the little tray icon and up pops a note pad to pop text into. There are even a few tabs if you want to seperate them a little bit.

  • Requires .NET 4.5

Note : If you dont see the icon in your tray, just drag it next to your clock. It should stay there for future use.
