TimeScroll makes your Mac’s past instantly searchable—private by design, free forever.
Designed for focus
- Timeline: See your day as a clean, scrollable timeline. Jump to any moment in time.
- Search by text: Search any word that appeared on your screen. TimeScroll highlights matches directly in the snapshot.
- Smart & lightweight: Optimizing power, memory and storage is top priority. Everything is built with efficiency in mind.
- Take a closer look: Pinch to zoom, pan, and copy or save snapshots with a click.
- App segments: Visually understand how your time was spent across apps.
- Privacy: Snapshots and search live entirely on your Mac. Nothing leaves your device.
How it works:
- Snapshots (not video): Your Mac periodically saves snapshots to help you revisit what you saw. By default, every 5 seconds.
- Searchable text: Text in snapshots becomes indexed and searchable so you can find anything fast.
- Browse by time or app: Jump by time, app, or search to get back to what matters.
