Most screeners show you which options have the fattest premium. TickerRisk tells you why it's fat. It scans public data — news, court and legal filings, SEC events, earnings dates, and clinical trials — and combines it with implied volatility to score every S&P 500 stock from 0 to 100 for catalyst risk inside your chosen expiry window. The premise: a rich premium is usually the market pricing a known event (an earnings report, an FDA decision, a lawsuit), not free money. TickerRisk surfaces that event before you sell into it.
