First place to look for models to print.
Good things on it but so slow website!!! It's very unsatisfying to use! If there would be another software with such prints on it I would directly go on it!

The site is slow and they take ages to fix bugs in the site, besides some at least controverse behavior regarding affiliate links posted by users. Whoever bought Makerbot and Thingiverse don't care for its users anymore.
Why commercial? It's free.
Commercial because it's not open source.
And Thingiverse is known to take user creations and patent them (google it if you want).
